There are three Classes to choose from, they can be switched over at any time at a Camp, this is the Tent Background Tile that you spawn, at the start and whenever you die for some reason. By pressing the [f] key you can switch between the Knight, Archer or Builder. You can also Recover to full health and restock to base equipment by retreating to the Tent and switching through the classes back to your main. The Knight has a Shield and Sword to combat against others, along with Bombs which explode ala'Bomberman Style. They can be thrown or dropped depending on the amount of time the Action button is held for that, well, action. Team Mates will not be damaged from the bombs, but any opposing player will be killed instantly. The Knight is also able to use their shields in a couple of ways. By holding their shield in front of them, they can block any arrows, attacks or blast damage coming at them, they also become a wall of sorts, able to push players of both teams with their shield. Dangerous for team mates who wish to retreat behind their shields because they now can't pass. The Knight can also hold the shield above their head, which can protect them from damage coming from above, but can also turn themselves into a step for other players to jump on and over something. With his sword the Soldier can Mine himself but at a slower pace of a Builder, but they can Dig through Stone, Ladders and Doors...

The Archer is the Ranged player, they use their Bows and Arrows to deal damage from afar and with good accuracy if skilled enough. While each arrow only removes one Health, constant rain of arrows can pin Knights in position, pick off miners from afar due to the need of the player to zoom in and unaware of their surroundings and to pick off anyone who is not ready. An Archer can run out of Ammo quite quickly, so they will need to be quick on harvesting wood from trees to make their arrows or scavenge more off fallen archers around the battlefield. The distance an arrow will fly will be accounted to the amount of time the [RMB] is held down and the amount that it will fall will be from the angle it is lifted, so you will need to aim higher to hit something further. The Archer can not dig stone or gold, nor can they break down Doors or Ladders but they can dig through Soil...

The Builder can make or break a Team. They present both the Goal hunter and the Defense builder. The Builder is the only true miner because of his speed when mining. It is faster to gather gold and stone via a Builder due to that speed, but you are quite weak when it comes to combat unless in large mobs. The Builder is also the only Class that can place block which can be Ladders, Stone walls, Doors or even Catapult Pieces. They can also build Back walls which act as a way to build against a substance without building ladders or walls originally.

Take the Halls

Take the Halls is a game mode where two teams fight over control of halls scattered throughout the map. The goal of this mode is to capture every hall on the map.

Team Deathmatch

In this mode two teams fight until only one team is left alive. There are no respawns and each game usually lasts a few minutes. This mode has a time limit and also features coins that you can earn by killing the enemy. The players spawn with 20 coins each round, and they can use them to buy various items from the trader.

Capture the Flag

Capture the Flag pits two teams against each other as they have to retrieve the other team's flags. The mode includes workshops and coins, similar to CTF in KAG Classic. Each team (on official maps) may have 1, 2, or 3 flags.

Small Capture the Flag

A traditional but fast paced Capture the Flag gamemode on very small community made maps.

Challenges

The Challenges gamemode is based on its Single-Player counterpart, where you can play cooperatively (or competitively) with other players to complete one objective per map. Each challenge has a maximum time limit of one minute and, in some maps, the class you spawn as is selected randomly, allowing for fast-paced gameplay.

Whether you succeed or not, high scores for most individual/team kills and fastest times are stored and shown at the end of the round.

Griefing

Griefing is a term used by many players to describe the act of hampering your own team. Whether its destroying your team's structures, obstructing paths intended for your team, or killing them by any way--any intentional act that gives disadvantage to your own team is considered griefing. This also includes team swapping to harm the opposite team.
