The humble builder. With enough hands, a legion could build up camp under enemy attack in as little as a few seconds.
The builder is the backbone of any army. His primary task is to build the infrastructure necessary to protect and provide mobility to the army. He is able to build ladders, towers, bridges, catapults and outposts. The builder goes into the battlefield with 50 wood items and he can mine different types of materials.
- [Left click] - Build blocks/constructions
- [Right click] - Cut down trees, mine ressources, fight with the pick
- [F] - Cycle through blocks/constructions to build
Gameplay tips:
- If you find a good gold vein, make sure you alert the rest of your team by using quickchat ([7]-key).
- Similarly, make sure to look for the alerts of your teammates so you know where to find that sweet gold.
- A simple early defense is to create a wall four blocks high with a door and a ladder to allow archers to shoot over.
- During the mid to late stages of the game, it's best to have at least one builder mining for gold at all times. (Except for CTF-mode)
- Builders are very effective saboteurs. They can quickly destroy defenses like doors or destroy catapults.
