You have inventory in top left corner of screen. There are your materials and resources, that could be mined from map and spent on placing blocks or firing.

Arrow | Arrows are used as ammunition by the archer, who can make them by right clicking a tree. |

Sack | The sack is where the gold is kept. They can be picked up or dropped by pressing "e". |
