Bedrock is a natural block first introduced in Build 51. Like dirt and rock, it is only found randomly dispersed throughout the map, and cannot be placed, except by a server administrator. Bedrock cannot be mined or broken by any class, except for the knight's [bombs]. When destroyed, it releases rubble that may kill any nearby players. Since it cannot be destroyed by usual means, bedrock provides an ideal natural foundation for defensive structures.
