Bedrock is a natural block first introduced in Build 51. Like dirt and rock, it is only found randomly dispersed throughout the map, and cannot be placed, except by a server administrator. Bedrock cannot be mined or broken by any class, except for the knight's bombs. When destroyed, it releases rubble that may kill any nearby players. Since it cannot be destroyed by usual means, bedrock provides an ideal natural foundation for defensive structures.
