Bedrock is a natural block first introduced in Build 51. Like dirt and rock, it is only found randomly dispersed throughout the map, and cannot be placed, except by a server administrator. Bedrock cannot be mined or broken by any class, except for the knight's bombs or a keg. When destroyed, it releases rubble that may kill any nearby players. Since it cannot be destroyed by usual means, bedrock provides an ideal natural foundation for defensive structures.
Also to be noted that on many maps with a smaller height bedrock lines the bottom as to make building bottomless pits harder.
Update History
- Kegs introduced which can destroy bedrock
- tent has automatically placed bedrock beneath
- bedrock layer lays on the bottom of each map
- modified bedrock look and amount
- bedrock bomb destroying leaves rocks
- added new bedrock block (indestructible)
