Lanterns are the only items in King Arthur's Gold that produce light (except Quarters and bombs ). They are currently available only to full premium members.
When carried, they illuminate all blocks within the radius (default radius is 10 blocks). The light permeates through all blocks, so the light reaches underground and through walls. Lanterns can be bought at a Mechanic Workshop for 5 coins and 5 wood in Zombie Fortress and premium servers. Certain servers can modify the cost, color and range of a lantern.
Carrying a lantern takes up the C slot (where hearts, catapults and outposts go), so it is only possible to hold one lantern at a time. While holding it, pressing C will throw the lantern. Zombies are lured by lanterns so they can be used as baits. The lantern will be destroyed if a zombie attacks it.
