Trees are one of the natural blocks of the game. Over time, new pieces of wood grow and leaves will grow on the top branch and below, even if the tree has been completely chopped down. If a block is placed over a tree, it will stop growing, but if a block is placed on the tree's root, it will disappear and never grow back.

An archer can right-click any part of a tree to gather arrows. Archers can also climb trees, using [W] and [D] to climb up and down, much like ladders. However, if any part of the tree becomes damaged or broken, any archers climbing the tree will fall.

A builder can right-click any part of a tree to gather wood. Builders can chop trees much faster than archers.

A knight can left-click any part of a tree to break it, but no resources are given for doing so.

Tips

  • An archer can conceal them in the leafy top of a tree when nobody's looking.
  • Dealing with an invisible archer? Find the direction their arrows are coming from, the use the mouse to scan the treetops. If your mouse hovers over them, their name will appear over their head.
  • Don't be so quick to cover up trees with blocks; making trees scarce (or removing the completely) could spell doom for your team.
  • Occasionally, leaves will form close to the base of the tree. This can conceal grounded units like knights or builders.
