The builder is the backbone of any army. His primary task is to build the infrastructure necessary to protect and provide mobility to the army. He is able to build ladders, towers, drawbridges, spikes, catapults, outposts and workshops. The builder goes into the battlefield with 10 wood and he can mine different types of materials.

  • [Left click] - Build blocks/constructions. To repair damaged structures, left click on the structure using the matching icon. Repairing costs half of the usual cost of materials for that structure.
  • [Right click] - Cut down trees, mine resources, fight with the hammer.
  • [F] - Hold to bring up menu with blocks/constructions to build

The builder has a weapon. It is most likely the pickaxe, which he also uses for mining.

This weapon is just as efficient as all the other standard weapons.

Gameplay tips

  • It's sometimes cheaper to destroy and replace damaged doors and castle walls rather than repairing them.
  • Reinforce stone structures with background walls to prevent collapsing.
  • You can convert damaged enemy doors by simply repairing them.
  • Builders are very effective saboteurs. They can quickly destroy defenses like doors or destroy catapults.
  • A builder's attack does little damage to a knight. However, landing on one from a greater height will do more damage.
  • Use bridges to make one-way ladders for your team.
  • Spikes are not the only trap you can make. Put a background tile followed by one or two stone blocks in front of a defense tower. When the enemy starts trying to climb, remove the background tile and watch them die under the falling stone!
  • Builders can see in the dark! A circle of light allows Builders to see their surroundings in dark places, which are usually made by masses of trap bridges.
