Wood is one of the main resources in the game. It can be gathered from trees by builders, as well as restocked from the tent during the build phase in the beginning of a CTF match. Wood is used to build some blocks, as well as rooms that can be upgraded into one of many different types of specialized workshops. Wood can be dropped in the form of an item or dropped on death. Since wood can regenerate it is suggested not to completely cut down trees around your base so you have resources when the round is near end. There is also a mod on some servers enabling you to buy wood for gold coins from a "Shop" kind of workshop. Players may also destroy buildings for some wood but it is considered griefing on most servers. Wood will be usable for wooden blocks in the near future.
