The Gold Nugget is one of the natural blocks of the game and can be mined for gold by builders. It is brown/gold in color and shines as you walk. In generated maps, it only appears at least seven blocks underground.
Its purpose in WAR game mode is to construct scrolls from which the team can then build factories which weren't researched.
Its purpose in CTF is to collect and use to construct siege engines and boats. Such as the Dinghy, Longboat and the Warboat, and the Ballista and the Catapult
