Boulders are the most powerful kinetic devices in King Arthur's Gold, coming in the form of a ball of rock. They are currently available only to premium members.

When thrown, they will start to roll in general direction, damaging stuff they collide with. Boulders can be bought at a Masonry Workshop for 50 stone in premium servers or Zombie Fortress. Certain servers will alter the cost and power of a boulder.

Carrying a boulder takes up the slot (where hearts, catapults and outposts go), so it is only possible to hold one boulder at a time. While holding it, press [C] and it will roll in targeted direction. Boulders only damage enemies.

Knights can use their shields to speed up the boulder speed.

Notes

  • After a boulder is thrown, anybody from either team can pick it up and throw it again no matter for its speed if timing is good enough.
  • Boulders have health points so if they take enough damage they will be destroyed.
  • Any nearby explosion will also damage the boulder, launching it in a random direction.
  • Boulders are controlled by the server, so the position on your screen and the actual position of a boulder can be different.
  • Knights can also use their shields to defend against boulders.
  • There is a difference between a boulder from a catapult and a boulder from a Masonry Workshop.
